More Than a Tour. A Movement for the Black Creative Economy.
The B.A.G. Tour is a nationwide initiative led by Dontae T. Muse, connecting Black artists, independent galleries, cultural entrepreneurs, and communities through cultural discovery, artist development, and documentary storytelling.
Our Three Pillars
01. Cultural Discovery
We spotlight Black-owned galleries, independent art spaces, and the cultural leaders preserving and advancing Black artistic expression. Each stop creates opportunities for connection, visibility, and community engagement.
02. Artist Empowerment
Through immersive workshops and conversations, artists explore branding, business development, networking, and wellness strategies that support sustainable creative careers.
03. Documentary Storytelling
We are documenting the people, places, challenges, and possibilities shaping the Black Creative Economy. The proposed documentary, The BAG Tour and The Black Creative Economy (working title), will extend these stories beyond the tour and help preserve their cultural and economic significance.

Support development and production of The BAG Tour and The Black Creative Economy (working title), documenting the people, places, and economic realities shaping the Black Creative Economy.

Help reduce barriers to participation for emerging artists, students, and communities with limited access to arts-business resources and cultural programming.

B.A.G. Tour Sponsorship Levels
These proposed contribution levels offer a starting point for individuals, businesses, foundations, and institutional partners. Support helps fund event production, travel and lodging, filming and interviews, equipment and crew, editing and post-production, artist programming, and community access. Actual allocations, benefits, and recognition will be agreed upon in a tailored sponsorship arrangement.

Regional Tour Partner

Contribute to a regional tour stop, including venue and event production, travel, and artist engagement.

Custom Partnerships & Documentary Underwriting
Partners may underwrite specific production needs, including location shoots, interviews, crew, travel, editing, sound, archival research, post-production, and screenings. Multi-year, in-kind, and custom contributions are welcome. Documentary credits, use of footage, editorial independence, and other rights are negotiated separately and are not automatically included with sponsorship.
